A two-part waterfall, Multnomah Falls is just off the freeway east of Portland, Oregon. This picture is taken slightly off-center to show the two portions clearly. The bottom section is 69 feet high, the top is 542 feet.

With the red bridge, this almost looks surreal to me, and I love it - a Japanese Garden in British Columbia.

At Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, they make all of their candy on-site where you can watch it being made. The taffy then goes into big barrels for purchase. They have a bazillion flavors - this is a mixed selection.

This beautiful stained glass window is in the sanctuary of Unity of Marin. It's a modern yet ancient design.

The Sunol Regional Wilderness is just minutes from the urban San Francisco Bay Area in the Sunol-Fremont-Milpitas area. This was taken from Calaveras Road, at the edge of the Wilderness.

On the southern side of the Sunol Regional Wilderness is Calaveras Reservoir in the hills above Milpitas. This was also taken from Calaveras Road.

Surprisingly, this beautiful waterfall is inside a California theme park.

The parking lot for Hedge Creek Falls is right at the northernmost Dunsmuir (CA) exit on I-5. It surprised me to find such a beautiful little waterfall 5 minutes from an interstate.

This scene is also inside a California theme park, but a different one than the waterfall L069.

Lamoille Canyon, Nevada, Memorial Day weekend 2003. It was amazing going from the town of Lamoille with green grass waving in the breeze to this scene 15 minutes drive into the canyon. The ice really does have that touch of green.

Kepler Cascades, Yellowstone National Park. It was nice of Yellowstone to build a walkway almost to the edge of the little falls. This is the picture that made me believe I could be a photographer.
