A two-part waterfall, Multnomah Falls is just off the freeway east of Portland, Oregon. This picture is taken slightly off-center to show the two portions clearly. The bottom section is 69 feet high, the top is 542 feet.

Lamoille Canyon, Nevada, Memorial Day weekend 2003. It was amazing going from the town of Lamoille with green grass waving in the breeze to this scene 15 minutes drive into the canyon. The ice really does have that touch of green.
